Mobile App and Online Banking Account Deletion

How to Delete a Digital Banking Account

Pacific Crest Savings Bank’s online and mobile banking users can request that their digital banking account and associated information be removed by emailing clientservices@paccrest.com (please do not include account numbers or confidential information in your message) or sending a secure message within Online Banking or the mobile app.  You can also contact us at (425) 670-9600 with questions and to initiate this request.

Account Access

Once your digital account data is deleted, you will no longer have account access to any of your digital products, including mobile apps (Android, iPhone) and Online Banking (web).  Deleting the mobile app from your device will not delete your digital account data; you must contact Pacific Crest to make that request.

Does this impact my accounts at Pacific Crest Savings Bank?

No.  This does not delete your account(s) with Pacific Crest Savings Bank; it applies only to account data created by the mobile apps and Online Banking.

Data Retention

Pacific Crest Savings Bank’s digital banking users should know that this request is only for removing their digital banking application data.  Certain data may be retained for legitimate reasons, such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.  To the extent additional retention periods are required, please refer to our Data Retention Policy.  None of your personal information, account information, and related transaction history will be deleted, as Federal Regulation requires Pacific Crest to maintain that information.

In addition, Finastra, our technology provider for Online and mobile banking, retains some data.  Finastra archives user data deleted from the system to facilitate account recovery. The archived user data includes information that links the user to their bank or credit union account(s) and their personalized settings.  Archived user data cannot be used by Finastra to access financial accounts or other protected information. Finastra retains this archived data indefinitely for the duration of our business relationship with them, after which time it is permanently deleted.
